Guiding governments, civil society, and the private sector globally and nationally.
Mediation
Facilitating dialogue and building agreement among diverse stakeholders.
The Government of Honduras asked me to support them in building consensus around their tax legislation, which was stuck in Parliament since the new government came in. They asked me to help explain it to the general public from a position of neutrality, in order to ensure there would be no politicisation. The aim was to make clear that all taxpayers should pay amounts of tax commensurate to their revenue and wealth status.
Across my work, I am also known for my ability to bring together diverse voices—academics, policymakers, civil society, and communities—to tackle complex fiscal and governance challenges. I build consensus by grounding debates in rigorous evidence while keeping equity and justice at the centre. My approach combines deep technical expertise with inclusive dialogue, enabling solutions that are both practical and transformative.
